I've seen a few people asking questions about how to make homemade hamster food so I thought I would include a list of articles and resources that I used as research when I was venturing into creating hamster food. Some of these are here so you can understand where each hamster species originates from and how that would impact what they should be eating in captivity and some are here as actual recipe inspiration. The amazing thing about making your own food is that you can start by making a small amount and if your hamster doesn't like something you can always not include it in the next batch. To do this though you do need to understand why each component is included in the mix and the impact it can have on the mix if you remove it.
